U can also get a neg. opk but temp rise which means u did O. It is possible your body prepared to O but didn't.

This is my first month using OPK's and I am CD20 or 21 and still no positive. I do tend to have longer cycles usually around 33 days sometimes more and a few times less so I am wondering if that it why. My tests have got a little darker but still nowhere near the control line. I continue to have positive opk for 1 or 2 days after the peak one but i know LH is coming down at that point. And i would BD on ovulation day and the next 2 or 3 days after as well. I am using cheap OPK strips and Ovia. Ovia became much more accurate after the OPK's because I don't ovulate until day 19-20 (of a 32-34 day cycle). I don't think I'll temp because I'm one of those people who will obsess over it (same reason I can't count calories because it'd go downhill quickly).
